About
Hi - I’m Lauren. I’m based in Dallas, Texas, with roots in the Midwest (Michigan/Chicago), and I’m a full-time voice artist. I voice commercials, and I narrate audiobooks — I’ve narrated over five hundred of them, from literary fiction to thrillers to young adult titles. I’ve worked on debut titles and titles from established authors, and I've been recognized along the way: the 2021 Odyssey Award for Kent State, eleven AudioFile Earphones Awards, and recent honors from the Audio Publishers’ Association and SOVAS.
I studied theatre and English at Hope College, with later training experience at Second City and SITI Company. I live for a good story: I love specific, intelligent original writing that lets me see the author’s world as though it’s around me.
When I'm not in my booth, I'm probably gardening (Italian vegetables, native plants, feeders for hummingbirds and mason bees); decorating elaborate sugar cookies (check out my Instagram); or playing with my Havanese (check out his Instagram).
I love what I do. Thanks for being here.
